Move to Essex Senior League confirmed

We can today confirm that following correspondance with the Football Association, a lateral movement will see Hadley FC compete in the Essex Senior League for the 2019-20 season. This is part of the Football Association's ongoing restructuring of the National League System and their move towards a "pure pyramid".

It is with a heavy heart that we have left the Spartan South Midlands League, a league which is run by an excellent management committee and includes many clubs which we now consider to be good friends and colleagues. Last season was our 10th season in the Spartan South Midlands League having joined Division Two in the 2008-09 season, winning promotion in our first season. The following season we won promotion from Division One before enjoying 8 seasons in the Premier Division. Last year was our most successful in the Premier Division, finishing in 3rd place, missing out on the Runners Up spot by goal difference.

The Essex Senior League will bring a new challenge and it is one that we can now prepare for and look forward to!
